What is Airtel upto??

I got 4mbps 1699 plan last month and the torrent speeds were terrible, so thought of getting a premium RS account and i am getting a pathetic 1.5mbps on a 4mbps connection. They are definitely throttling torrents ,and filesharing sites too now.SO how are we supposed to download? There is no use of me paying 1700 rs if i cant download anything. Other http sites give good speeds, so its only filesharing and torrents that are throttled. Anyone having the same problem?

Airtel seem to be well reputed for traffic management techniques at the moment. There's only so much you can do at the moment - you might try getting a seedbox instead but for all we know they may restrict traffic speeds to the IP-range of the well known seedbox hosts as well which would end up not solving the problem. The best thing you can do is vote with your wallet.

You can't expect the maximum out of your ISP from torrents. Please try using Filehosts like MU/MS/RS with IDM. If possible please post the screenshot of your transfer speed.
