Why so? I mean normally any smartphone shud work for 3 years atleast! DO u mean to say Samsungs/LGs/HTCs dont even last that distance?

Ok. And i was just starting to rethink whether my decision to migrate from Nokia is right or not!

I would suggest you to stick to Nokia only as I find it more reliable than any other brand. right from my childhood till today, never gt in situation when I have to get my handset repaired at service centre. Even In CDMA, I was using Nokia 6275 which worked perfectly for 3 yrs whereas other CDMA handsets have a life of only 1 yr.

Actually i have been under this impression since long. But looking at the no. of bugs that i face these days, few of my friends have faced these days, and also, looking at how happy few others are after buying Android, i have decided to move on as well.Till now i didnt buy anything except Nokia & even suggested others to specifically buy Nokia. But those days have gone. In fact 6-8 months back i suggested HTC Desire HD to 1 of my relative & he is very happy with it.

N8 is no match for HTC Desire 😉How can you even dump the idea of buying a symbian instead of an android phone? ):

bcoz N8 was having better features than HTC Desire. 12 MP camera, HDMI port, HD recording, 16 GB inbuilt memory.

Personally, if I am to choose a new cell phone today, I would not favor any brand. There are plenty of options available. It basically depends on your priorities and requirements. For me, strong battery backup, good build quality and a stable bug free OS and a large enough screen would be enough.
