Remove the ssd and install on the hdd , your ssd could be faulty.

burn it to dvd as bootable image file at 2 x speed.oh yeah one more thing , remove the other hdd from system while doing a windows install, it happens sometimes that one hdd , messes up with another another.

Please link me there or tell if it was resolved.

here is a guy who got this error due to hdd drivers

its because the drivers for the start up of vista are missing off the new hard drive just had the same problem so stuck an old hard drive in then used acronis disk clone to copy the old hard drive to the new then take the old hard drive out put the new one in and it will boot to vista

Yes it will work later , you can clone the hdd installation to the ssd but first you have to find out whats causing the problem , it could be your ssd or the pendrive you are using for installation or something else . First eliminate the ssd as the possible cause of the issue.

oh just read that entire thread, there was good qustyion there which applies here too, have you initialized the ssd i totally forgot that part !!! i doubt hat a brand new ssd is faulty but you have intitlaize it before doing windows install, unplug it in another system go to disk management. Once there you should see the SSD but it will not have a letter assigned to it. Go ahead and add the SSD. Whatever drive letter it gives you will be fine.

and also from that thread this something i also did for my ssd installIwould recommend setting the BIOS to AHCI then just install the SSD and then install W7.

you can change to AHCI from BIOS settings in my case the drivers for AHCI was installed on it's own in case it does not , here is the link for it Error message when you start a Windows 7 or Windows Vista-based computer after you change the SATA mode of the boot drive: "STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE"

[*]xyx2000 cloning an image from a sata drive to ssd does not work , and it is real messy he would end up doing another install, but yes to rule out a faulty ssd 1st try the install from a dvd img , if that does not work then try on another hdd and unplug the ssd as a last resort, in both case have only 1 hdd in system when doing the install also unplug all usb devices plus have just 2gigs of ram stick in system, you can plug it all back after the install is finished.

^ He should try to install on the hdd first , even if what you wrote is correct then the install on the hdd should work normally and afte that he can think about how to install correctly on the ssd. If he gets the same error on the hdd then something else like the pendrive maybe the problem , it will be easier to troubleshoot if installs on the hdd first.

UPDATE : Windows 7 64 bit has been successfully installed on SATA HDD when I removed the SSD.

:001_tongue:I told you in my very first post in this thread to install on the hdd , either the problem was drivers for the ssd or the ssd is faulty , now you should install the ssd as secondary drive and run some ssd diagnostic tools to test the ssd . Do not enable ahci in the bios now, your hdd install will also get corrupt.

If it freezes at the bios screen then its a hardware issue , remove the ssd and try installing the os on the other hdd , try memtest on the each ram stick one by one , you shpuld not have bought 3x 4gb , 2x4gb is enough and this would also run in dual channel. Do you have a link for your psu , coolermaster isn't a great psu maker maybe its not good enough for your system , you should only buy corsair psus in India.

But but.. I've already enabled the ahci before installing OS on the SATA HDD.

What should I do now, SSD is being shown now, I've formatted it with the DISKPART, how do I proceed on installing the OS on SSD? :clapping:

great , now format the hdd with os on it, remove it, remove the ssd , then just plug in the ssd and proceed and keep your fingers crossed,, if the error comes up again return the ssd.
