Username Changed!

Last year while applying for Dataone connection it had asked for a preferred username. However when i got the connection, i was given username in form of XXX1234. However day before yesterday, that account was suspended. When i contacted my area PRO they said i was not using proper username and gave me the original username i had opted last year. All this while i am being billed normally. I wonder if this has something to do with port binding.
 
A unique user name is allotted by the NIB Exchange .And it is surprising that account has been suspendedafter a long time because of its not a proper user name !And they could find out your initial option of username ...if it is home 500 plan or unlimited plan then most probablyBSNL has port binded your Dataone account to your phone .
