i have a 600 kbps connection from reliance net connect broadband working on an ethernet connection .it was working fine a few days back but there was a power surge .after electricity came back the network adapter was showing error that network adapter is unplugged.i tried changing wires, then i installed a new lan card but the same arror persisted . but when i port forwarded it through a router it started working. i just couldnt understand.can please anyone help me.
