Hi,I have switched to DataOne DSL and when tried to download yahoo and msn messengers from download.com and oldversion.com then clicking on "download now" link led to IE crash. The explorer window got closed. IE version is 5 and OS is Win-2k.Using dial up connection on Win-98 with IE5 works fine, download goes on smoothly. Any tip if any security settings need to be altered to enable download using broadband ?Thx.-- Rajeev (mp_rks@hotmail.com)

Thx. Netscape Navigator can't do the trick ?
 
well dunno what versions you are talking about. the kind of configuration you have i had say get opera.
 
There is no god damn browser on the planet which comes even close to the performance of Opera.Reason is all online which i don't need coz i already know it like many opera users.And ya those who think that it can't render some sites well its not the browsers fault the web developers don't make their sites opera compatible a large number of times notably microsoft(they however make them firefox compatible :angry: )
 

Thx buddies for tips. Looks like problem is not IE specific but with registry as later I noticed sys msgs hinting so. May be with right installation IE5 too would work fine for downloads. Thx again.-- RKS
