Google guys badly need a crash course on design aesthetics. They have always lagged in that area. Today when I went to (was taken rather) Google, it came up with that bad black bar first, and then on top of it, an even dirtier 'Set as home page' option in blue. Yuck
I don't like the action bar. Unwanted movement making browing slow, and I am one who usually has a lot of lengthy conversations, so this can be a pain. The People bar is a straight lift from Outlook.
Ummm.. I am NOT AT ALL a fan of Google, but I must admit, that when it comes to design aspect then Google has simple yet well planned design.Google never aims at eye-candy designs, it always aims at light weight user interface which works in all browsers.
