How to Configure Airtel BB to VMC AN1020-21 modem

Hi frnds, Today I switched my Broadband connection to AIRTEL from BSNL. AIRTEL gave a type-1 modem (Wired). But I have BSNL's VMC AN1020-21 (WiFi) modem. Can anyone tell me how to configure this modem for AIRTEL, so that I can use WiFi in my home.Thanks.

Here are the steps to configure wi-fi on your laptop. 1. first connect the ADSL Modem(VMC AN1020-21) to your PC with Eathernet Cable2. then remove the ADSL line cord (RJ11) coming from Splitter to Modem(marked as DSL)’And now follow these steps • Go to Control panel .• Click on Network and Sharing Center.• Right click on Local area connection2 and select Properties.• Select Internet Protocol Version 4(TCT/IPv4) and then click on Properties button.• Now fill these informationIP address:192.168.1.10Subnet mask:255.255.255.0Default gateway: 192.168.1.1Preffered dns server:208.67.222.222Alternate dns server:208.67.220.220• Now enter this address in address bar of Internet explorer, 192.168.1.1 and press enter• Type admin in Username and password field and press OK.• Select admin tab and click reboot option and then select Factory option and press Reboot button.• Click on Configuration>Internet Connection>Delete all.• Click on add new connection.• Click on next button.• Selct PPP over Ethernet and then click on next.• Check on followingsObtain an IP address automatically.Enable NATAdd Default Rout.• Fill Service name as dataone. Type your bsnl username and password and then press Next. And then click on Apply.• Select Admin tab and click on Reboot then Select Reboot form as Last then click Reboot button• Click on Configuration>Wireless network. Enable wireless network and pressConfirm. Don’t close this window.• Now in your notebook open run window by pressing window+r key simultaneously. And then type cmd.exe and press enter.• Type ipconfig/all then press enter.• Note down your physical address• Now on the web page you opened previously, click on Mac address filter tab then enter your physical address in MAC address field. And click on Apply button.• Now you can use your Wifi network on your laptop.
