heh. i loved reading the article. gurgaon is a slap on the face of anyone talking about growth in india. i believe people in bangalore and hyderabad would say the same.
You are talking about the past. What about the future ?

The problem many cities face is they will find it harder to grow further. There comes a limit to that growth. When there is no growth then a city stagnates. What happens then ?

There will be other cities covered as well in that series in the following weeks.
 
Hoardings banned in Chennai?? Thats strange. I didnt knew this. Any particular reason??
 
hoardings are supposed to be banned here in gurgaon too. but companies have found multiple loopholes. there is a building that is visible from the delhi gurgaon expressway. pepsi has a large wraparound LCD installed at the top of their building and it actually shows video advertising. it is majorly distracting. i am not sure how they have managed to keep it on for such a long time now.
 
Totally OT: Any thread currently existing on how to get Voter's card?? can do these things in the time i am free......

That was 2 years back....
Reasons...GREEN CITY....no way
1) Unmaintained hoardings fell down killing a couple of lives.
2) Heavy power shortage during summer

citing the above reasons the previous govt. banned hoardings....anyhow we miss the hoardings with colorful lighting's.....

Totally OT: Any thread currently existing on how to get Voter's card?? can do these things in the time i am free......

voter card .. they start the same before election ... but u can get UID .. if you have the same u don't need the voter card also and with in couple of year this will be mandatory every where
 
Thanks for the info. So u mean, instead of Voters' ID, i shud go for UID only??Actually i didnt knew that this post of mine was shifted here. So i searched around the internet & found the form 6, downloaded it & filled it up. But the ERO person told me that they will accept the forms from July 10.
