Till now i use sunflower oil(gold winner). I came to know that it is not that much good to health. Heard that Olive oil is good but its way too expensive.Which oil has less cholesterol? Should i go for Saffola brand? Need some inputs here.....

I don't think that makes much difference. Have been using refined Sunflower oil since ages. Just recently shifted to those fancy Saffola Gold and Sundrop Heart. They aren't that expensive. Olive oil? Never tried, no idea

Olive Oil or Extra Virgin Olive OilBoth are full of tremendous health benefits.

Could you please google "Mangalore"?

Place means nothing. I have seen Tamils in Delhi, and Punjabis in Hyderabad. Doesn't make them locals.

I asked because from what I know, only Keralites use coconut oil for cooking. I might be wrong.

Extra virgin olive oil is best for health but it is expensive too.You can try mustard oil also.It is healthy and useful oil and cheap too.

My mother uses Canola Oil for cooking. i think its supposed to be low in saturated fat.

According to most nutritionists you should keep changing your cooking oil every month , i hate the smell of coconut oil but its probably the healthiest

Coconut oil in our home. I avoid fried stuff's in any case due to cholesterol problems. As long as you avoid fried food any oil is good enough I guess.
