2 hours daily powercut -__- one hour in the morning and another in the afternoon. Reason? Unprecedented demand! :Shave:And its only 26 of feb. Summer haven't even started yet!
Nothing beats UP. When I was there in Noida, used to spend all the day time (including weekends) in the office. Too much dependency on inverters.Thank God, Bangalore is gud in this aspect. Unofficial 0.5-1 hour power cut, that too during summer for a month or so. Anyways its cool here so not much of a difference during power cut!
In Meerut (UP) we have a regular power cut of 5-6 hours during summer and 3 hours during winter. And Meerut is a million plus city. UP is pathetic when it comes to power cuts.
Fortunately there is no load shedding in the north Delhi area where I reside at present. If there ever has to be a power-cut, prior information is given.
We get minimum 6hrs of power cuts in summers and have gone for days without power.
All this time when power is out, we have diesel generators in almost societies and malls in our area, generators kick in and the air becomes unbreathable at times 🙁
I am sure that no body in environment ministry has ever thought abt this.
Guys! i live in a area which is half an hour drive to the city so thank god only two hours daily.Already industries are suffering due to two days(!) power holiday and poor people in the villages ..they are suffering from daily 8 hours(!?!?) power cuts! and again "Summer hasn't even started officially!"
Believe me I live just a stone's throw away from delhi, but that stone has to cross Delhi - UP border to reach my place and that really make all the diff.Power situation in UP su**s
Tell me about it. I live at a place which from where one city is 2 mins on foot and the other is 5 mins by car. Both of them have much better electricity supply.
My home is in Surat (Torrent Power).Power cut is almost none. They cut power for maintenance only which is one or twice in year.Even for Industry they have one staggering day. But do not cut the power(You can open your office and do your office work).
