When people were busy comparing Notion Ink soldered tablets with Apple,I made a statement, Samsung is giving tough competition to Apple, it's now apparent. I love myself.
One thing is pretty clear that Apple would have signed enough long term deals with Samsung related to components supplied by them for their own products before filing this lawsuit... Samsung is one of the largest component suppliers to Apple and if this lawsuit annoys them, they can really take some hard hitting steps that affect both them and Apple. Of course, being a public company… Samsung cannot simply ignore Apple and their mega orders for memory, display and processors. But this should come as an eye opener. I hope Samsung takes on Apple fully on and get support from Google.Apple needs a kick in the buttocks. All their rivals should unofficially form a coalition and totally isolate them from the world. This has financial consequences but this is the only way to take Apple on. They like to control everything... Let them do it all...
I doubt if Apple is really intimidated by the tab. I don't see any reason they should. Though I absolutely dislike the iPad, it goes without saying that it is far more polished than the Tab, or any other Androidtablet out there. In addition, it has been outselling its competitors by a distance.
well the honeycomb tablet from samsung is just coming to the market.
plus Galaxy s ii is a solid phone. AppleiPhone 5 is only expected to go on sale later this year.
it would only have the a5 processor if we believe the reports in the market. that is a dual core 1ghz processor that powers the ipad 2 which was launched earlier this year.
samsung aims to launch 2ghz dual core mobile phones next year. things are becoming uncomfortable for apple as they launch one model every year and in that period, android devices are getting multiple generations.
Forget clones, we are having clones of clones now... Sciphone - a brand which started by cloning iPhone ,was doing somewhat good , and that had a few guys cloning them :iomg:
“Samsung’s Galaxy Tab computer tablet also slavishly copies a combination of several elements of the Apple Product Configuration Trade Dress,” Apple says in its suit, noting that Samsung’s tablet, like Apple’s, uses a similar rectangular design with rounded corners, similar black border and array of icons.
In an interesting turn of events, Samsung's legal team has asked Apple to hand over next-generation versions of the iPhone and iPad to make sure its own future devices will not be subjected to the same infringement claims the company currently faces as part of Apple's lawsuit from last month.
