I doubt that would make much of a difference. From what I noticed in the modern Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Delhi airports, having the WiFi or otherwise doesn't make a difference. Speeds are pathetic.
you are not expecting it to support torrent downloads right? if it works for tweeting and checking mails, it is good enough i suppose. but then it would be stupid to access your mails over such an insecure connection. i bet people use all kind of tools to try to break into other computers accessing the net at the airport. firesheep for example 🙂
Torrents would be ideal for such a connection considering the speeds are absymal. I could not properly check the gmail mobile version on those connections.
