in world of digital age.. why wud some1 buy news paper after 30yrs? when same paper wud still be available online!may be as antique news...but then who wud go and search for buyer? what if india wins 2 more world cups in those 30 yrs? value of such preserved paper wud reduce
 
u will fetch lots of money only when there are hardly 10-20 copies.. but if there are more than 50-100.. i dont think there will be many buyers who will be ready to pay lakhs of rupees.
 
umm..shouldnt dhoni have been magnanimous enough to have shared the man of the match award with Gambhir?..he was involved in 2 crucial partnerships..steadied the boat when india was reeling at 31 for 2..handled the pressure very well and brought india to a stage from where the match could be finished off by dhoni and yuvraj.
 
umm..what if the importance of cricket dies down totally after another 20-30 yrs...IMO, from an international perspective its already a dying game..India is the only country that is still sustaining this game and as we grow in international stature in the future, we would be drawn more towards the games that are played by first world countries..

exactly. Gambhir was more deserving than dhoni. He was going through rough patch and see the innings he played. There cant be more pressure than this day. He made sure that he dont do something silly and make india life tuff. He peaked at the right time. yeah, dhoni was also good but he already has earned enough credit by winning india the world cup. Did you see the gambhir face when dhoni name was announced instead of him?
If not alone , he should have atleast share the MOM award with gambhir. Frankly speaking I was expecting dhoni to do this task but it didnt happened.
 
Well Gambhir deserved MoM but he left the job half done with bad swing. But had he scored 100 then he wud have got it easily.Dhoni also scored at fast rate plus he made good decisions too, so he also deserved it.
 
After all the news of various scams and divisive politics indulged by ALL our politicians (across all parties), this is one news which makes me proud as an Indian!Nice to see the cheer and celebrations together finally as Indians, across the country and abroad too from other Indian citizens residing there.The final 6 hit by Dhoni was a great reply to Sri Lanka. Our way of saying..get out of our way..World cup belongs to us!! 🙂Hats off to our Cricket Team. Great team work by everyone!
 
Yes its a gift, but he didn't want him to exert to much so he asked him to get out early and enjoy a Pina Colada with him in his seating lounge.

WC coin tossed twice and best part is both captains smile and hand shake....I think IPL has really made players from all countries closer otherwise this would have never been possible. 😀 ( I mean getting the closer part not the coin getting tossed twise 🤣 )
