For which I am eternally grateful."

Inspite of all the hullaboo about we being racially targetted, it cannot be denied that we are inherent racists. This reaction is no surprise. We are arrogant in victory. Blame the media for that. They have made it appear a war against injustice rather than a game of cricket.

i can only imagine what we would have done to the toss fiasco if we had lost the game. now that we have won, no one is going to discuss the mess at the toss. and of course, no one would look at the allegations of match fixing. i was getting updates on twitter about the predictions made by bookies. at least a bunch of them came out pretty true. it was almost confirmed in the bookies circle that india would win the match.

The reason: The trophy, according to India's Byzantine customs rules, was not eligible for exemption from import duty! And a combination of bumbling babudom, and the ICC's bungling, ensured that it stayed under lock and key at the airport. Now, it will be flying back to the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Dubai headquarters on Monday - without having once being actually touched by the team which had fought so hard to win it.

^^ Can't really say anything about India's performance there, the current team would have performed well but by 2015 Sachin,Sehwag,Zaheer won't be there !
