ICC cud have played spoil sport! It wanted to ban broadcasters for breaching guidelines.

We completely missed this news (atleast i missed this news)

Subsequently those guidelines were breached on several occasions, particularly in respect of the blatant commercialisation of ICC World Cup footage and proprietary data by certain news broadcasters. In the interests of the event, we have agreed to reinstate their accreditation for the final match of this hugely successful World Cup.
ICC is right but then they shud have known that broadcasters are going to squeeze out every bit. Even after the notice, broadcasters showed too many ads in final...hardly good replays.

i switched to DD national after few overs and it was showing all the replays properly.
 
Ah - I think these are two different things - ICC talking about news channels who have not paid for the coverage per se . Whereas you are referring to poor telecast by the sports channel.
