Sometimes the browser says like this:It seems your computer has been affected by a virus. This may allow a remote attacker to gain control over your system.I have to enter a recaptcha code to enter. Any explanations appreciated. This message appears vaguely sometimes, even when I keep scanning regularly. Is this a very serious issue?

I had the same problem with bsnl 3G, apparently admin solved it by adding bsnl 3G range of ip addresses in the safe list 🙂 Btw this is coming from cloudfire! Sent from my Desire HD

me too...having the same problem almost every second time i log in.

Do u need to type in ur password again, or its just that captcha??

it is cloudflare. it would check for your IP from a range of blacklisted IPs known for spamming. since most of us are on dynamic IPs, we might hit that mark once or twice. the question should be asked once every couple of hours if you continue to remain on the same IP. i have the settings at lowest level but still a fraction of you might end up facing it. i can suggest two things... either reboot your router to get a good IP. or use the host file to link the domain to the IP manually!

Opera Turbo makes the job easy though, u might try the same, if u r using opera 😕 else rebooting the modem or using a proxy will surely do the job :cool2:

Same againHey admin, is the IP 59.99.56.106 blacklisted? I got the same error screen and the IP is which I'm using now, and I'm on dynamic IP.

this is Regarding the Blocking of names of sites like india-broadband and telecom-talk. I am angry regarding this as Techwack has less traffic records than telecom-talk. I know its a site of IBF's owner but still u wanna post your site's Links and block other site names? Not fair!!

sorry cannot help you with that. i am not spamming here with techwhack links. i used to have a dedicated rss feed running that posted all the content. no longer. i am not sure if your favorite blog runs a forum, but i would advice you to join that if you are such a big fan of them.

Well here i would have to favor admin bcoz that particular blogs too moderates links carrying posts/comments. Its my own experience i had tried posted links to threads here to support my point & my comment never showed up ! I feel admin is still very open considering/seeing various other forums & blogs.

i would have no issues with sites and blogs that are consumer oriented. that fight for the consumers. and not the corporates. the blog being discussed here runs direct sponsorship from telecom companies. this is generally not a problem but when you see them write positive things about their sponsors comparing to other companies, you do get a feeling that something is not right. and then, i have never really seen any attempt from them to criticize the mobile companies for their crappy 3G plans and ISPs for their crappy broadband plans. i am not a regular reader so i might have missed it. but the overall i feel get from them is that they would rather focus on pleasing companies than take on the various causes for the general public. my personal opinion and that affects the moderation rules here. i would NOT block links to mainstream media, original sources of information and so on. like it or not... moderation happens on pretty much every site where community is allowed to post content. some are very strict. some are not so strict. i just apply some stuff i believe in.

Well, I think if someone is so desperate to post the content they can always copy paste & write - Source: XYZ websiteAnd if Someone is so desperate for the link, they can google using the info given and/or PM the poster for the link ...

^^^ true. Plus most of their topics are more like an Ads/Press release for the various companies though some nice informative articles are also published. But yeah it's more of like trying to please the companies and act as indirect marketing tool (since they have huge no. of visitors) rather than using its popularity to put forward consumers issues.

copy paste & write - Source: XYZ website

that would result in more copyright violation emails landing in my inbox. i really do not need more of these. just find the original source of information. and if it is a rumor (exclusive breaking news... our sources have told us), just leave the news (without copy pasting the article) and wait for it to become a reality. i really do not want to become part of the whole exclusive breaking news scene that has become so popular on the web.
