hmmm......first of all u r being looted heavily by airtel...... i m paying Bsnl rs. 550(including taxes) for nearly same plan(6GB-512kbps then,256kbps.....though I end up using 7-9 Gb most of the months till the time they throttle my conn..)Anyways answers to most of ur queries....1. Yes, Spectranet is available in South Delhi, at most places through local ISP/cablewala if I'm not wrong. In the end, it will depend on ur specific location in S.Delhi whether there it is or not !2. This is not a factor for what you need.:|3. It depends on whether spectranet directly gives u a connection or a cablewala provides it in ur locality. Usually it varies with person to person. Some may take 500rs. as installation charges, some may offer it for free.4. Again if through spectranet, then i guess no, if otherwise then Maintaince charges are sometimes included in plans, like a 600rs. plan will be offered for 650-675rs. or so. Sometimes it may be lesser then the actual plan by spectranet.5. It should be somewhere in the range of rs. 1100(inc. taxes).6. As far i know torrents are not being throttled, some of friends still using in south delhi tells so.7. In my case it was offered through cablewala & he provided pure unlimited 512 kbps throughout the month(though Spectranet has 40 Gb FUP).8. Video Streaming was fine, though sometime in eveing hours speed used to hover Up & down a bit. But latency were amazing(atleast at my place, I always had a 5-10 ms latency to Speedtest Delhi servers), all in all really good latencies comparable or better to airtel/reliance.9. At any point of time prefer a wired one, as wireless has too many factors that can spoil ur experience even if u have a decent high speed plan. First of all latencies will be high, Signal strength and other questions will rise up. My suggestion prefer cable service anytime & if the same is not available then only think about Wireless option.I hope it would have answered some of ur queries ! Ask more if u still have further doubts.
