mhsabir is right.Instead of voting, we are more interested in discussing. And its refreshing to see so many members now discussing Cricket. During SA series, the response was lukewarm. Not now!!
 
I dont think resting Sehwag is a good option. After all, this game and AFTER winning, theres Final - no rocket science this!!And in between 24th & 30th, he has got ample time to rest. I am sure, even if he is 90% fit, he himself would want to play:- World Cup Semi Final- Against Pakistan- In India......He would be drooling at the thought of sending Akhtar & Gul over Third Man like in 2003 World Cup!!And as Danny said, Munaf is still better than Sree & Nehra. if Munaf is guided well, he will stick to his line, and it will create problems for Pak batsmen.
 
I visited a showroom lately (Famous Branded Showroom).
And an executive was streaming live WC feed on a PC and was continuously talking to someone on his phone.
In a moment he took out another phone from his pocket and then other,
I was like 😵 Whoa! man.

that MIGHT be a possibility but the odds are pretty complex 😀 and shahid afridi may just take 4+ wickets marking a comeback 😛
 
As I said, i had no hope from England batting.. only bowling cud have won them match.but they failed too..so SL winning way too easily.
 
I would say their batting choked up, on a wicket which was slow, but good to bat on. Just that they batted first & thats y their bowling looked mediocre in the 2nd innings.
 
Well - So 1 upset really then, the remaining 3 went along expected lines....

World cup now is almost like Asia cup - Wish Bangladesh had been there instead of Newzealand 😀
 
And in all probabilities, it now looks to me an all-Asian Final. Kiwis wont be able to beat SL. They wud remember the recent disaster as well!!
 
SL thrashed England ! S.L win was likely, but in such a comfortable way !I rememember a commentator said yesterday, "It seemed as if the two teams batted on a different track" !Now, I think it would be an India - S.L final.
 
Yes sadly!!There was an overdose of the India-SL encounters till August last year, and we hoped that we wont see another match with them atleast for another year or so......and see, there's this situation thats arisen where World Cup Final will become a bit boring coz of the prospect of SL coming in.
 
Dilshan joins the list of top contenders.... Afridi, Yuvraj, Dilshan seem to be heading the charts with Sachin, Sangakarra lurking behind them...
 
I feel it should be Yuvraj or Afridi, And whoever wins the semi will have one more game.
 
Also noticed this is the first final which is not going to feature WI, Aus or Eng.. Otherwise it has always been atleast one and sometimes both teams in the final from this set of 3 teams.....

Pak,SL,Ind have been in finals twice before - with 1 win & 1 defeat each ..... NZ have never been to one
