Problem Accessing Mtnl Mumbai Broadband On Aug 9 And Aug 10 Morning.

Dear Guys,I had a big problem with MTNL Net for the past 2 days. At 11 am on 9th Aug my connection simply snapped. I called up 1504 and they said some server maintainence was going on.I waited till 6 pm like a fool (call up every hour and put pressure) and this time called again, I got a very helpful guy who was online with for 15 mins instructing me to reset my modem upteen times. Finally I got it working after running connection wizard againOk then again I logged in the morning same problem some sites were workiing, Yahoo mess was working MSN was not, FTP was off. So I called again 1504 and they told Server at Prabhadevi was down at try again at 11. Finally at 11:30 things have come back to normal. 🤔 Am I the only one who faced this problem and why hasnt anyone posted that TriBand was down :angry:Only positive thing to come out of this, is to assume that the guys were upgrading their servers for unlimited Broadband 🙂 scheduled to be launced on Aug 15th. Lets pray.
 
Yes I too faced this problem yesterday night. I got connected for say 1/2 hr and then absolutely no connection. Multiple router restarts and hotmail, yahoo etc run and then they don't. eventually went to sleep with no downloads. Hope it was for UL connection.
 
The problem continued till today morning too.....i think till 11 weirdly.....it was very slow but never down completely....yeah hope its for UL
 
wat if they do introduce unltd but at 1399 per month..ie 1399+ 80 (modem rental) + 99 minimum line charges + 193 (ST@ 12.24%) = 1771/-

u guys think its feasible at that price ? ..i mean airtel charges much less for the same speed also gives u double download speed at night ..i know its not available at many places but this type of fleecing by MTNL in name of Utnld is not warranted.

I feel that introduction of UL at correct price is as imp as introduction of UL itself..
 
yups ... i had problems too ... all my torrent downloads were in blue smileys with each one of them showing connection error:timeout ....dunno whether its related to the same problem ... but i have been having a lot of problems with my mtnl conn for the past few weeks so did not pay much attention to it ....
 
Is everybody's connection ok now?? I hope they upgraded their servers for the unlimited plan.... that would be cool. Anyway 15th is a few days away, hope RD 350 is right.CheersChew
 

We have become used to taking Triband for granted, and those bumfreakers Govt types, dont inform us customers, so we can make alternate arrangements, and we are left in the lurch, wondering whether our PC is at fault or something on their side.Last time I got a big mail stating submarine cable is going to be repaired and there was a minor disruption for 2-3 hrs only and as a consequence I had to forgo my work for that day. Feel like asking a refund of 2 days rental.......
