Anyone expecting slow speed?

Anyone expecting slow speed in Mumbai MTNL Broadband/TribandI mean google based sites including youtube are running Awesome but I cant browse web that good.Cannot even play the MMO game also downloading from almost MIN 17kb/s - MAX 70 KB/s In actual it was 266kb/s-270kb/s as my plan is 2MB/s (actually paying for 1MB/s 😛)anyone expecting same?
 
Well can you access google sites including youtube quickly?video loads terribly fast but downloads are slow weird
 
I'm on the 512kbps Unltd 599 plan. I am getting slow speeds since the past 3-4 days. Google loads fine, but most other sites are as slow as a dial-up connection. I had to refresh the Ovi store site 4 times for it to show anything, and other sites take 3-5 minutes to load (eg: Engadget) Downloads vary between 15-55kbps on torrents. I hope this is a problem at MTNL's end and gets resolved soon.EDIT:SNR: Down-44 Up-16.9Line Attentuation: Down-29 Up-20.3
 
Yea i guess google is loading fast because they have MASSIVE NETWORK OF SERVERS ALL OVER THE WORLD and they absolutly dont get any load 1 PB is just a TEMPORARY storage for those guys
 
Yah guys same with me ..I am on Mtnl 999 1mbps plan.When i do speed test in speedtest.net it shows me 1.3 mbps but when i tried mtnl speed test it give me less than 1mbps ..But still getting disconnected many times almost likely get disconnected in every hour .Well i am thinking to switchover to another Broadband company .check out my speed and ping 1.40 mbps and 256 kbps upload speed...

it's all good at present .... yesterday sites were not opening with too much delays...i am not using open dns as they seems to have timed out when i ping it .
 
I guess it's only happening in Mumbai because rock21 from delhi isn't experiencing it.... it's only happens in the mornings and afternoons for me, evenings and late nights are just like before.

For me it happens any time of the day. Some sites don't open. They start working fine after few hours. But then some other sites stop working. I have used Open, google, Norton DNS but nothing helps. This issue is since 4 years now and getting worse day by day. I believe it is a problem of overloaded servers and insufficient bandwidth as more and more people are opting for 1 mbps unlimited plans. I would not be surprised if some FUP is applied on us soon.

Download speeds are fine. I am downloading Windows 7 SP1 at full speed of 1.1 Mbps. But pings are very high.

the problem started again high ping out. i guess it happens during peak hours and get autofixed. tho i get full speed on hotfile premiums @ 220 kB/s 🙂
