Hey people,I am thinking of purchasing a new cellphone. My budget is ~9000INR. I want it as feature rich as possible. Let me know which one is good. I really loved the SE w550/600 but it doesnt have expandable memory. Any phone which has its features and an expandable memory is good for me. BTW what is the difference between the w550 and w600??All suggestions are welcome! BTW my budget is flexible by Rs.1000 😛
 
Nokia 3220 moto razr(not expandable but cant beat the design)
 
I was also planning to buy a phone is similar price bracket.My options were Nokia 3230 ( has everything except a stereo mp3 player....it has dual mono)SE w550i has everything except EDGE, Symbian. Too low memory and non expandable.Also considering MotoRAzr v3i
 
I think you should have a look at Nokia 6630, I don't know about expandable memory but you are talking about having MMC slot then yes it has one, it has almost all features except for an FM radio and the camera quality is pretty good with 1.3 megapixels and 10X zoom.
 
how much does the motorazr v3i cost? if i make my budget more flexible ( ~11000 ) will I get a better phone with expandable memory? Guys plz suggest some good model nos.
 
You will surely be able to get a v3i for 11-11.5k, comes with a 256mb card too...
 

hey pal,w600 and w550 are similar except that w600 has EDGE and is quadband,its the american version of w550 (its shame that they didnt launch w600 here coz we need w600 than w550).Another and most obvious choice which comes to my mind is se k750,if cam is one of your main consideration forget evrything and go for it.Im using it for quite sometime.Only down side is that it dont have EDGE.
 
yo max buddy ............V3i though a kul fone but is a chic fone buddie (especially out here in Chd all d chics got it n' I haven't spotted even a single guy with it)nothing personal against any models bhai log so dnt tk me wrong........just thot u shud knw.....rest u decide n' all d best coz I knw its a bloody draining job to select d best model.........I just got over it some 25 days ago after 3 months of headbanging researchmay d mobile devta gv u his blessings...........😀 😛 😉
 
I am not thinking of a cam phone. I just want one with a good mp3 player and expandable memory. I was looking at SE k750i but it seems its more camera oriented than mp3.Sushubh, i'll take a look at Moto L7
 
Thats a very good fone, its actually same as the W800i , just without the walkman branding. It has a really great camera at 2MP.But if you go for a symbian phone, there's a lot of apps available, which is not the case for Sony phones. Actually I would suggest symbian fone......say 6630 which has good sound too , but no FM.
 
Aniket can u suggest some phone other than 6630? What OS does Sony's k750i use? BTW where will I get this phone at the cheapest price? The lowest quote i've got is 11000. I want 512MB card along with the phone @ 11000. Can anybody suggest a dealer in Mumbai? No. not alfa. They dont bargain!
 
Well...plz tell me where you getting it for 11k..I know only alfa as cheapest place...this looks even cheaper.Sony phones use their own proprietary OS, so very few apps are available for sony phones. So if I am spending more than 10K , I will look for apps support ie Symbian.Well apart from 6630, sound is good in 6680/6681 . But they are a bit more costly.
