They have updated their home page I guess.

i have not tried logging in to my icici account in the recent days. i do hope that they have removed the requirement to have adobe flash player on their website. i mean most tablet users would not be able to login at all!

For tablet users, they would probably try and push use of their apps.

i do not think people like to replace websites with apps. especially websites that are accessed on a rather infrequent basis. also banking apps probably do not feature all the capabilities of websites. they are fine for checking statements, making a quick bill payment or stuff like that. personally i would not install apps for every single website i access on a regular basis.

I understand, but I was talking from the bank's perspective, and how they are heavily publicizing it. Regarding using Apps, I have a couple of friends who use net at office, at home they don't have net and use their smartphones for banking when at home, and yes they prefer the app.
