I have an old ADSL WLAN router (BSNL DNA-A211-1) which I used previously when I was using ADSL Internet Connection. However lately I shifted to 3G/HSDPA Mobile Broadband Internet, and connect my Win7 Desktop PC directly with a USB HSDPA Modem. I want to share this 3G Internet Connection from my Desktop with my Notebook. i do not have any gateway and do not wish to bey any.Is there any way I can re-use my old ADSL WLAN router to share Internet, both via ethernet ports and WLAN? Can anyone help?Dear Admin, If above post is posted in wrong place kindly move to appropriate section. Thanks in advance.

Since you are using Win 7 and If your desktop has wireless capability(wi-fi card), then u can try Connectify

i'm using umg1831 in win7 in my laptop and want to hw i share this internet with my friends laptop..?

I myself am using 3G DATAcard on one PC and sharing to my brother's PC using LAN.Works successfully.

@smnrock,i watched Connectify video carefully. Thanks dear for your inputs. But my desktop hasn't wireless capability. I already have purchased umg1831 for 3k. plus monthly 3g usage charges so do not want to make any further expense. Therefore i was wondering if i could use my old ADSL WLAN router. I remember i had shared files between my laptop and desktop using ADSL WLAN router few months before.@HokThanks Hok,I do not have lan card but my brother has if you tell me how to share net connection or suggest me any tutor will be appreciated.regards.
