UMG 1831 EDGE network help required Urgent!!!

HIi live in mumbai but am using BSNL sim card which works on MTNL jadoo 3g networkRecently i bought UMG 1831 card from a dealer on ebay,and im having a problem with iti Have a problem with the modem in the sense that even though HSDPA/WCDMA network of MTNL is there,it shows full network strength ,after one hour or so the network automatically changes to EDGE (which is 2g network of MTNL)I want to know why even though the 3G dolphin network is there with full strength is it chaning to EDGE 2g 😢.Also in UMG 1831 with mobile partner 16 how do i FORCE the modem to pick up ONLY 3G network of MTNLPS- i tried to make nwtork work only in WCDMA mode but it still picks up 2G EDGE.Thanks
 
the normal way to pick 3g only mode in mobile partner is ..Go to Tools - Options - Network - in "Network type" Tab change to "WCDMA only" Mode and change to "all bands" also register the 3g tower in next tab named "registration" by manual search..
