according to facebook its 0.facebook.com free on Airtel ..

contact cc na 121....they will tell what if they changed it or not...

Since 28th Dec. 2010 they have changed rates for Airtel Live from free to 30p/20KB.And I think 0.facebook.com was on Airtel Live. So, it is chargeable....🙁

but it was chargeable only from 5th Jan i suppose.. i.e. from tomorrow.

hahaha

yep but someone here pointed out that, since airtel WAP portal (which was free earlier) will also be charged, hence 0.facebook.com will also no more be free.PS: i havent used airtel at all, hence i am just saying based on information i read here and there.

It's free even now !I tried it just now, no balance was deducted and on the top of the page it was written free access to facebook with Airtel Live

well.. facebook launched 0.facebook.com with the goal of providing it free to customers through partnerships with mobile service providers. if you try to access it through your desktop, it won't work for you because it detects your service provider against the list of partners and see that your ISP has not offered to provide it for free. if your ISP is not included, the service tells you to use mobile.facebook.com instead. 0.facebook.com is not a service from airtel wap portal. it is a service by facebook and it is supposed to be free no matter what. and if airtel is still being shown as an approved partner by facebook. and airtel users are allowed to access 0.facebook.com using their mobile phones. and airtel is charging for it... it is a clear case of cheating (facebook and the customer).

its a case of cheating from airtel to me [FB user ] .. and therefore airtel have replied me saying

" Hi Surely our team will get intouch with you, would request you to pls share ur request at airtelpresence@airtel.in, our team will get intouch with you at the earliest .

Thanks
Airtel Presence "
