Unable to check Usage after plan change

I am in Ludhiana. I used to have a 500 COMBO(1.5 Gb) plan 2 months back.I had 59.XX.XX.XX IP address. Then I wanted to change my plan to 600 COMBO(2.5 GB), but my father told them 599 COMBO( 4GB~512Kbps). So I thought i will change the plan next month.The Internet ran fine for 3-4 days after which I got the problem of wrong UserName/Password. So i called BSNL and they gave me a new ID and Password. UserName: ad1612305XXX (12 digit)Password: passwordInternet ran fine but i was unable to check usage at any BSNL site(Even data.bsnl.in). Even after getting 600 COMBO, i cant check usage. Every site says its a wrong User ID, but Internet runs at great speed(3.4 Mbps!!). Even selfcare site says my ID is wrong. Please help me guys.
 
You need a 14 digit portal ID to log in to the portal. Check with the local exchange. They keep it in their records. Make a phone call and it is done in 2 minutes.Most of us use a bandwidth meter to keep an eye on our usage. Try one from Networx or Shaplus.
 
I think portal id did not works now, hv to register on usage web site with subscription ID, but it takes long to activate by the bsnl system.

Thanks all, i called BSNl office and logged in on data.bsnl.in I found all the records of december 2010 usage. then,i changed the login id bcoz it was too long to remember. There was no problem. But when i check records for January 2011, i get no search results.
So i tried to register at selfcare websites. but it says i have entered a wrong BB user id. what shud i do?

I tried NetMeter, But i have a WLAN router with 2-3 computers. How do check all the internet usage (not taking into account file transfers among the computers through wifi)?

There is nothing to worry about. This is the usual behaviour of data.bsnl.in portal it starts displaying the records of every new month on 2nd or 3rd day and some times on 4the day also. The usage of Jan. 2011 will start to show probablly from evning on the 3rd Jan, All the records are goning to be there of 1& 2 as well. Also till 4th & 5th the records will be almost 24 or 48 hours behind i.e. will be showing upto 3 rd or 4th even on 5 the day of any month. They system of this portal works this way so nothing strange if its not showing this today on 2nd Jan.

If you are able to check usage under data.bsnl.in, you won't be able to register at self care portals. BSNl portal is slow to update current month's total. Normally it will take till 5 th for the current month details to be listed (due to billing process). Not sure about Netmeter, using Shaplus or Networx, you have option to select the adapter of your choice. Hope this helped.
