Yes, it's free, and I did download NFS Underground. Didn't get much time to play, since I use Windows 7, and their games aren't compatible with this 😀 So had to boot into XP to play.

Positives: Games download real fast, making use of full line speed, downloads aren't charged to your account. Reasonably good collection of games, best amongst Indian ISPs. Impressively good follow up - I have got 3 calls so far, each one of them coaxing me to play more. I sometimes feel Airtel is on a mission to render the youth of this country useless.

Negatives: For me, lack of support on Windows 7, and the fact that only good scores unlock subsequent levels in the games.

Thanks for the Feedback can you give me a link to Game on Demand. or tel me how I can get to their webpage, want to check out the games. and see which ones are compatible with Ubuntu->Wine.

That would be airtel.indiagames.com Be warned though that except IE, other browsers are not compatible 😀
 
Guys !! please do not go for games on demand. as i am on plan 1699 i got 1 month free GOD. it sucks truely . downloaded NFS underground says insert cd-rom, speed becomes crappy and sometimes it stops downloading. I got lots of error messages error 153, 193 . submitted request to cc GOD but no reply . Finally unregistered from their service :yahoo:
 
i never trust/gofor value added services by these companies. i would not trust airtel with even speed on demand.

I agree with you man !! Airtel truely sucks with this service . Better to download games from torrents and play ..
 

hey alig just check out the link airtel.indiagames.com go and grab your wine over there.......but don forgot to have you selfcare id of airtel and don reply that you dono selfcare id and pass or contact 121..
 
admin first you should check the whole service and the next word from your mouth will be oops nice service....
 
airtel is giving me free 1mbps i think since the last couple of days. that's nice.

you had all the services, facilities without any complaints
great i wish i could be there..
dude but normally if you will use any services there will be some hurdles....

And it does not register me. Can anybody please help me on this.

Airtel seems to be having an issue here. Even I have not been able to login and keep getting the same error. They are apparently following it up with Indiagames, but things aren't moving. In my case it has been a week since I raised the complaint, and tomorrow I am going to yell at the nodal officer. Airtel has started stinking.
