Poor Connectivity With Beetle 450 TC1 ADSL+2 Router-Bad Airtel Service

Hi guys,Airtel had replaced my old router for a new one cos of some technical issues. However ever since I have got the new router I get awful connectivity in the house. For example I can't even connect to the net from the room across me. I thought there is a problem with my laptop and Apple changed the Airport card but even after that I still get the same issue. While I can easily connect to all my neighbors wireless networks except mine.On calling CC, the guy wasnt even willing to hear me out and insisted that wifi connectivity works only in areas without walls (wtf). I told I havnt come across any house which doesn't have walls and this issue has never cropped up in my 5 year usage but he was a complete ass and then even disconnected the phone.Is there anyway to fix this issue and does the wall argument hold true?

open 192.168.1.1go tointerface setup->wirelessset the transmit power to highsave and restart.try connecting now..It is a weak WiFi router though.I get about 30% signal strength about 30 feet away through 3 wallsAlso, make sure that your router and cordless phone are not kept next to each other, and that the router is in a well ventilated place

Hi,thanks for replying. It was already on high. Any other suggestions? Do you think Airtel will take this compliant seriously?
