(1/2) We have not received your Airtel Prepaid Enrollment Form. (2/2) Kindly contact the Airtel Relationship Center or Dealer from where you purchased your Airtel Mobile to enjoy continued services.

What the hell does this mean?

What the hell does this mean?

Didn't you filled any form while taking the connection?

of course. the dude who delivered the SIM got a form filled up and signed by me. 🙁

what about documents?

Looks like they are going to disconnect me in the coming hours/days if I do not go to their relationship center and deal with the idiots again. the people who are always out of SIM cards and prepaid recharge. i bet they would be out of information about this error message this time around.

i would have to find out the number of the airtel gal that called me up for the sim card request. because the papers were sent directly to their offices. bloody disappointment.

might be communication problem within their departments, better visit ARC now, you have to visit anyways now or later.

righto. i would take the same documents again so that they do not have any major excuses to mmm dodge me away 😕

so i had a talk with the airtel customer care people at their corporate office yesterday.

they told me that it was a mistake at their backend. and everything is in order and my connection is just fine.

i was sort of relieved.

but the fun continues.

just got the same message with this warning.

As per Govt. directives we have to discontinue the services to your Airtel Mobile as we have not received your Airtel Prepaid Enrollment Form.

I would be carrying my old number with me today just in case they shut down my connection.

Yeah its been going on from some time, my cousins had to submit documents for Vodafone twice in a month for existing connections 🙁I have been lucky since I just submitted it once for my airtel prepaid...

oh yeah. i see a lot of rants on twitter about airtel (and vodafone) asking users to submit documents related to multi year old connections. had no idea they would bother me for a brand new connection which was acquired with all the documents in place. 🙂

Haha, now u know what i felt when i submitted documents to Vodafone 4-5 times. 😀For them its simple process they just have to collect the docs which we hand deliver to them. But for us.1) Get a photograph if no photos are available2) Get xerox of PAN and latest tel bill as address proof3) Get the form, fill it.4) Submit it.And what more twice they gave me time limit of just 1 day..what if i was out of Mumbai?

the lady i talked to at airtel was pretty adamant that everything is in order wrt my connection and i have nothing to worry about. and then these messages. i would try submitting my papers anyways.

Ya correct the docs are becoming a big pain now...my mom and dad have voda and Tata, these guys are also asking for new docs..... As per a article in HT few days back these operators have strict mandate to get new docs from customers...so thats why all the opeartors are running after the customers

I just got these messages as well even though all my documents were in properly. Has anyone actually been disconnected by this?

Has anyone tried using the Airtel Sim Delivery for Prepaid . Wanted to port in to Airtel from BSNL.
