Sify called me up!

Hi,Today someone from sify called me up asking details about my Internet usage!!!I downlaod Iso's of Linux CD's. So my downloads go up to 6-7GB per month. I am using 128kbps Unlimited package.They said they are asking everybody their details.Did they call you up ?
 
muahhahaa... whats next?spies looking at what u are doing on their 'broadband' connection?
 
Yes definitely spies. What the hell do they want to do with my activities ?Also, when i went to my Operators office asking for an explanation of the call,i met a man from Sify itself. I told him that i dont want you people to call at my place. He said that Sify will not call asking for such questions.Odd!
 
Blast them if they ask you about your downloads. Tell them that the night pack is sold by Sify as a downloader's pack. This was atleast what my CTO had told me when he overzealously tried to sell me the night pack, but it didn't fit my requirements so I didn't buy it.
 
actually at sify broadband... one person has no idea what other does in the company... my service guy had no idea what my CTO told me about my net problems. there is total miscommunications...
 
I had the same phone call once. At the time, I was using torrents a little aggressively 🙂
 

LOL, he called up again and said, " We suspect that your machine is infected by a virus or a worm. Please scan your system!" HAHAHAHA,s*ckers. I have purchased Unlimited package, to unkay baap ka kya ja raha hai ?
 
unkey baap ke bandwidth jaa rahi hai 🙂i remember those days when i had a 1 gig bandwidht a motnh connection... the CTO disabled my id coz he thought i had a virus. i was sending mails at a speed of 150 per hour... that was part of my job then. 😛
 
agar "unkey baap ke bandwidth jaa rahi hai" then why the hell do they say its unlimited ?
 
so that stupid customers can be lured into believing that there is something called unlimited broadband in india 😉
 
i called em up to inquire id the 100megs limit was for 128k users as well & indeed he confirmed. This s*cks , when i bought the account it dint mention that and for tha part of the month that i paid em for there was no such limit , this is downright cheating.What the BEEP is going on? What do we do Dharnas ? morchas ? bhook hartal ?
 
Hmm. If anyone has their old rate list pages saved, or maybe old pamphlets, they could check if it says downloader's pack for the 128 one. I think it did.Which downloader's pack limits you to 100 MB/day? (or night because the pack doesn't work in daytime). That's oxymoronic.Why don't they make the 128 pack work during daytime also if they have to impose a download limit on it?They really should make it 24x7 all over India now that they are officially imposing the 100 MB limit on it.
 
even i got a call today they were askin me to email themdeb.sbl , err.sbl , SifyBBand_HBS.txt and warn.sbl .i have no idea wat these files contain.So shld i mail them these.What u suggest guys.
 
Neo, I would suggest that you say, "Those files are none of your f***ing business" and show them the finger.Better still, write down one issue you have / had with Sify in each file and send them those ones. 😀
