heh. iPhone is locked. but ipad is not.
the funny thing is that from what i know Apple has still not launched the ipad in india.
so bsnl is just mmm launching a plan... for a device... that is officially not available in india.
the report does not mention anything. but i assume they have launched microsim cards with unlimited 3G plan for 1000 rupees per month.
so i assume that Apple iPhone 4 owners who have jailbreaken (!) their devices have a great new option.

and based on that assumption i blogged this pos. BSNL launches 3G plan for Apple iPad
i guess this is right. someone had copy pasted a blog post from mobi gyaan about bsnl microsims a couple of days ago.
i had to delete that thread after mobi gyaan folks complained about copyright infringement. so this was already in the pipeline.

Will they lock it to the iPad , if yes how will they do it ? AFAIK , micro sim to normal sim adapters are available easily.
yeap. this sounds like a decent loophole. but then they are already offering a 700 rupee unlimited plan right? (with six months prepayment).
