Tata Indicom Plug2Surf SCAM: Old customers are charged more compared to new customers.

Dear All,

I am a victim of Tata Indicom V-data card(plug2surf) and have been paying Rs.799 since many years.I am shocked to note that new customers have to just pay Rs.499.When I cancelled the connection,they have been bargaining to refund this difference to continue the service.

Then onwards I have been communicating to their MD(Anil Sardana) and have gathered 25+ customers and we are going to call a press meet and disclose this cheating.Please read following communication and if we all fight, these guys will come down or else will cheat more customers.We can even reach Mr.Ratan Tata by sending Email to coffice@tata.com

Dear Mr.Anil,

This is w.r.t your Customer Care Manager-Mr.Neeraj who has called from 040-66558071 today and he has been shamelessly admitting that any revision in tariff will not be informed but rather customer should call and get to know,etc.

He has also admitted that reduction in tariff will be considered as retention tool when a customer calls for cancellation of connection.

I have already gathered a group of 25+ customers in Vijayawada who have been using Tata Indicom V-data card and still paying higher tariff and we are very soon going to conduct a press meet and will report to media about your cheating tricks.

Requesting your urgent intervention to resolve this or else I promise you that it will cost your job too by making it as a national level issue by filing cases in consumer forums and courts.

Now today one more customer care executive called from 044-66682500 and says the same will be resolved within 24hours and when I asked for docket number he has not given and call got disconnected abruptly. I have great respect for late J.R.D Tata & Mr.Ratan Tata and requesting to please give me an opportunity to train your sales and customer service team on how to do business by following Tata Group Business Principles.I would like to do this at free of charge as I am very concerned that such a reputed group company employees have been behaving very irresponsibly. Wow, this is pure BS and doesn't make any sense. I mean they're offering the same plan to new customers for 499 INR while existing customers need to keep on paying 699 INR? WTF? Unbelievable. 😕I say dump this thing and move to some other operator. I'm sure you have some other options at your location.

hi this is happening all over india and every one is talking about it but still no consumer court on this so far seems ... i think we can easily get refunds along with interest and can cause compay severe penalty ... if approach customer care . i my self victim need u all pll support thanks sandeep
