Tata Docomo 3G Tariffs

Dont expect low price from TATA Docomo 3G. You need to pay Rs.1000 for 5GB, Rs.1250 for 10GB and so on..... for getting speed at 3.1Mbps. If you need higher speed you need to pay Rs.1275 for 5GB and so on.... for getting 7.2Mbps.

If you want to use broadband for home purpose, go to DSL Connection...... Forget about 3G

I don't have complete details of data plans. I just asked to customer care rep about some starting data plans. And the Mobile TV plan is Rs.99/month for all channels and the another plan is Rs.10/10 minutes. I asked any additional data charges needs to pay for using Mobile TV and what are the channels are available, but he doesn't know about that, he said not all details are not yet available.You can call customer care for getting more details.

tata docomo is not present in my region 🙂

hah! if true, this is a FLOP plan. Some how, private players don't seem to take BSNL as a competition at all.. no aggressive plans that too from Tata DOCOMO would be a real damper in this expected 3G party!

^ well this time around I am not expecting a tariff war from RCOM on 3G front. Earlier tariff war they started seems to have dented their own kitty rather than their competitors. Even their 2G voice tariffs are seeing increased rates.

if you had seen their most recent AGM, you might be slightly more optimistic about it 😀 but then anil ambani is all talks. 😀 he said it during his speech that reliance would provide the most competitive plans. might be worth waiting for. if not to get their connection... just to have other players cut their own plans to compete with their packages. 😕

Tata DOCOMO, the GSM arm of Tata Teleservices Limited today announced that the Video Call and Data charges for its 3G mobile services (3G Life) in 9 telecom circles across India. The Tata Docomo 3G Video Call will cost 0.66 paisa.

The 3G Data plan for prepaid users starts from Rs. 350 valid for 30 Days while post-paid 3G Life Plan starts from Rs. 500. The operator has launched 3G services with bundled tariff plans that include data and call rates.

i had to block almost all the tata docomo websites from appearing in google ads on this forum (3glife.com is a new one. yet to block this one). 😕 enabling all of them now. this forum would soon be full of tata docomo ads.

Rs 2000 per month data plan would include:
15GB of data transfer at speeds of up to 21mbps
data transfer after 15GB is free at 256kbps

The company announced different tariff plans for both post-paid and pre-paid 3G mobile services ranging from Rs 350 to Rs 2,000, which include monthly minutes as well as data usage.

For example, in a monthly tariff package of Rs 2,000 the subscriber would get 5,000 minutes voice calls, along with data usage of up to 2GB per month.

Tata, however, clarified that pulse rate would be 'per second' and subscribers would be charged only for number of seconds used.


Similarly, for 3G data services on large screens like computers and laptops, Tatas have announced a package of Rs 2,000 for 15 GB of data usage at a speed of 21.1 Mbps. However, usage beyond 15 GB would be free but at a speed of 256 kbps.
