Yes its been posted with Calcutta and Chennai Bsnl website don't know when it would be posted on the main bsnl website, may be around Diwali its a festival offer according to them.I am sure after seeing this offer private operators will have to revamps there 3G pricing 😀 I hope this starts the true mobile broadband revolution in India, now I am just waiting BSNL to reduce their pricing on data bound plans getting greedy 🙂

BSNL is yet to implement a FUP,
they should sell like, "whatever works, might work, no SLA"
what i can say about them is, they are scared about private player entry, and they are going to get some huge losses with huge broadband cancellation in coming days.
Lastly i would not trust crappy BSNL for 3G, their service quality is poor and atleast in my town 3G goes down for no good reason along with broadband, and the exchange guys take more time than my patience in
even attending the issue.

This 1000 rs tariff is effective from 1 nov to 29-jan 2011 as per bsnl website. However, 'The Hindu' dated today has a news on bsnl 3g tariff for diwali season. it says unlimited scheme is available for 700 Rs (postpaid) as a diwali offer.
