BSNL 3G Network goes very poor after few months of Purchase Data Card.

Hello friends

I have bought Micromax mmx300g datacard with 2g SIM before 3 months. At start my internet was running fine (Download speed abt. 34 kb/sec at UMTS Mode). I can see the "3G" and "H" icons. But from last 1-2 months it suddenly goes too slow. I can't see"3G" and "H" icons . When i select the UMTS Mode it mostly shows "no network" or "no service" like messages or very poor network (abt. 1 line of network). So I m unable to use UMTS mode to use the 3g like service. I can see network only when I select GPRS Mode, it shows full network antenna, but that is too slow (abt. 5-7 kb/sec)🙁 . I don't know wat happened to me, bcs. at start it was working fine.

Hey friends, there is now some improvement in 3G signal by using USB Extension cable of 1.5 mtr. long. Now i can see 1 bar of 3G signal and can connect. But still i m not happy, bcs. i think it will not stable for long

And there is no benefit of calling BSNL’s customer care as u all knows. BSNL customers have to depend on each other suggestions only, this is the only solution for us. 🙁

Buy a 3G USIM or datacard and then report back here.

It seems the BSNL scheme of providing 3G video calls and signals to 2G SIM card holders is over.

You have to pay Rs 120 to get a New 3G connection.
For data usage you can buy 3G data top ups according to your use starting at Rs 249 plus taxes(500 Mb data )per month.

Since you are existing BSNL 2G customer,you will get the BSNL 3G USIM at a a much lesser price than Rs 120.

But when i m using my Datacard (with my 2G SIM) in my office which is abt. 2 km. away from my home, it works at very good speed at full signal strength(Shows Full 3G Signal). Wat will u say ???:iomg:

Before you buy the 3G USIM confirm from BSNL whether the 3G tower still exists in your area.
I may be wrong but I heard in the news that certain towers have been closed in and around Delhi due to some violations.

OK,So now are sure the problem was with your Micromax 3G Datacard ?

No,, Data card was not da prob... Prob. is from BSNL signal.. But u tell me,, wat can i do, except selling this.
