Nice to know. You are getting the above 2Mbps on your 400 plan ? That's nice. 🙂

The speedtest dates atleast a year back 😛 The 2mbps plan is too expensive 🙁 so I shifted to 400kbps plan.

hi shushrukh, could you explain this process in a little more detail? If i have a wifi modem cum router with a dsl port ad 4 ethernet ports and i have a wimax connection with static IP, then how can i achieve Wifi for the house? Also, how does one access the console screen of the wimax modem and how to change the settings for CINR and also how doe one connect to a different tower?any help would be much appreciated.

guys does any one has a list of cities Reliance/BSNL/Others WiMax is available in ?

I'll show you 120mbps downstream on 2mbps plan ... what say you?

ADSL2+ has maximum theoretical download speed of 24 Mbit/Sec. and one of the screenshot says some 120Mb/s so you have FTH connection ?

One More Line, I would like to add in this forum is - " Fair Usage Policy " which most of the ISP are following, But in terms of Reliance Wimax they follow "No Fair Usage Policy" Which means a Purely unlimited plan. Not like other ISP fixing up a data limit as per the plans you have taken.

I don't believe those 120 screenshots.Either you are one of the the God's most preferable one , otherwise a 120 mbps is NOT possible in a ADSL2+ Link.Show a download screenshot i.e . the speed you are getting when you are downloading.@ flame :- I am a CCNP.So , I know at least a bit about networking.So, don't call me noob. 😉

CCNP doesn't mean you know better 🙂 ADSL support upto 24 Mbps down only and 1 Mbps Upload. But i am getting good speeds while downloading around 4 to 6 Mbps 🙂

I have some confusion because what I know is , in Broadband Connection the download speed will be the speed which you have taken divide by 8.

means
Download speed= The actual browsing speed / 8

So, your screenshot does not stand a chance.Because you should be getting 120/8 = 15 , not 4-6.Don't tell me i'm wrong in maths also.I don't think IBM would be so silly to give me a Network admin job if i don't know anything. 🙂

If you say , you are watching 1920x1080 Full HD in your normal plain TV , no one will believe you.Simple.And show a proof of download speeds of that 4-6 Mbps.As the saying goes , if there was not a picture/proof , it never really happened. 🙂

Your username means your intention to me.So, i don't want to argue.Stay happy with your so-called 120 Mbps connection but i am extremely satisfied with mine. 🙂

I dont care where you work IBM Wipro Dell etc... so many private company if you think they selected bocz of CCNP don't want to say anything more...... plz

I never said i got the job just because i'm CCNP.I am not here to make a resume here. 🙂 Just don't forget to show us the screenshots of the download speeds.I also need to know how much i'm deprived of. 🙂

The above i just took & it's a 1536 Kbps connection & it's a " Real " speed which i also get at the time of downloading.So, i'm more than satisfied. 🙂
