The logic of better coverage (Voice):You have two 3G networks in one sim + 1 2G network of Idea. (3 networks of Voice calls for you in one service provider)Hence there will be very few places in Mumbai where you will get no network. Either of three networks are in you hands if you are on idea 3G. It may be very helpful in local trains.
 
Thats a very good approach to see at Idea.
 
If Idea is sharing Airtel and Vodafone, then no relevance is asking speed.
 
In Mumbai its confirmed its only Airtel who will share network for Idea 3G.Still its not bad as you get 2 times Voice call coverage on Idea 3G.
