More more more problems with sify

😀 it's 11:35 and i'm still logged on using the night pack! :lol: anyway.. i have a lot of s**t in my log file.. are you sure the new dialer still writes to the log file properly?
 
its 11:53 since last night ..... i am still unable to log on to sify .... some ppl hav all the luck 😛 :lol: Good luck to Bhinder for mooching off sify :lol: what speeds are u getting with night pack bhinder?????hmmm .... quite a pattern here .... more ppl with night packs have the disconnection problems .... SoleshunIr also has the same problems ........ I only Hope that Bhaskar has time to implement the login logut cycler ..... 😀
 
It's been 24 hours since Sify is down for me too.And all because the CTO here is so irresponsible that he doesn't care to rectify the problem with the hub even after a whole day!Yes, it seems there are more problems with Sify during the night.And imagine, the night 128 pack is touted as a downloader's pack and works only at night. What happened Sify, short changing your night 128 pack subscribers are you?
 
🙂 ok it's 2:58 now.. still logged in.. this is gr8 man...and gaurav i get 16 KBps with the night pack..you know what the really strange thing is? not that i am logged in using the night pack in the day but the fact that i haven't been disconnected once 🙄

He said that the gateway server had hanged ....... so things are working for me now........ i asked him about the Night Dissconnect problems .... he seemed to know about it ...he said "haan haan fix kar doonga" ....... :blink: do i smell a rat?? i guess i knows about these probs .... maybe its been deliberately put there ...........at night I usually get a speed of 12kbps .... but if u see my records to download 100mb it has taken 6hrs most of the time .... so this is what happens after around 1 half Hour the connection freezes until I manually logout .... For the rest 5 hrs I loose my money ........ 🙁Bhider yaar I too am getting 10kbps now ..... :lol: What a Miracle ....... Its 3:24pm now wow......Maybe the cable wala did something unknowingly hahahahahahahahah
 


i dunno man.. our cablewallahs are not the same.. so this problem can't be because of the cable dude.. i don't think this is a delibrate attempt by sify.. they would lose too much by doing this.. 🙁
 
If they do this when you download much, then it may look like a deliberate attempt of Sify.Afterall we all know Sify is a miser when it comes to letting us have bandwidth 😀 . To be fair every ISP is a miser.
 
Yeah I know what service is.I'm talking of bandwidth here.And the ADSL folks set limits on downloads too. After certain amount of data downloads they start charging extra.
 
not on the pack i have. i pay 900 bucks for 128kbps pure unlimited data transfer. have 2 lines as we are 3 guys living here. life is really fun with what we have.
 
Oops, I missed it on Airtel's Tariff plans chart. Now I see Airtel has Unlimited ones on the 128 and 64 packs.

heres mine. as you can see from the time intervals, the net is cut off and so is the session. Basically i face the same 2hrly problem as does Gaurav Tyagi.

My email to sify:My username: XYZSince 30 Jan 2005 (the night i installed the new client ver 2.16) my session gets disconected every half hr or 2 hrs after i leave downloading on. As i am on a night package it is not humanly possible to wake up every 2 hrs to manually re-login. Your technician asked me to email 4 files to you, but i cannot remember which. Hence i have zipped my entire sify broadband folder and am sending you the same. I request you to sort out this issue at the earliest as i am gettin a maximum of 5hrs of downloads every night when i should get 12. Also if this problem cannot be sorted out by the time of my account expiry, i am afraid i will not be in a position to renew the account as it would just be a waste of money.Thank you for your concern.
