Problems Playing Games With NEW MTNL Broadband connection

Hi i just switched to MTNL after a gap of 2 years now the issue is that i have configured my ip as 192.168.1.250 in the lan settings and they are all in order.. I give this ip to my friends to connect to me and they are unable to do so... Its getting very frustrating now as i am unable to play any games due to this.. Please advice me...

There are two possibilities :1) Your friends are connected to the same LAN network as you . If that is the case , its not an MTNL issue , you need to configure your router / switch correctly .2) Your friends are on a different ISP / network .In case of 2) , you need to give them your external IP for connecting to you . However your external IP changes every time you connect , so a better solution for you would be to either :a) Setup dynds and then give that address to your friendsb) Use a VPN software like Hamachi

Hi i forgot to mention im using Hamachi to play for the time being... Can u tell me what DYNDS is ??

What game are you playing ? Sometimes you need to configure hamachi specially for certain games . Google for "Playing on Hamachi" for more specific info .
