BSNL Broadband: download speed problem

i'm facing speed problem from some days, on testing speedtest.net it shows above 2MB/sbut while downloading from sites like hotfile, i get only 20-30 kbps while earlier i easily get200+ kbps speed from this site. plz help.
 
Use a different browser/download manager.Also try using OpenDNS or Google DNS & see if that helps.Report back.
 
1. Disable firewall / antivirus and try2. Download a file from Microsoft and check the speed.3. Try Open DNS or Google DNS.4. Try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net

well the problem is nothing , its normal ..... u might have 2mbps connection but while you download from Hotfile as a FREE USER they [HF] limit the speed to 128kbps and sometimes in off-peak speed rises to 256kbps.....:isorry:

Best if you download a lot get a Premium Account where their no speed limit :dance:

and all your problem will be resolved

dear frnds thanx for reply, i'm using 500c plan 2 - 8 a.m. unlimited, i normally download betfree hours,today i noticed that download speed increases from 30 to 200kbps after 8 a.m.why? this was never happened to me before!

Buddy mine plan is also HOME 500 C and same no restriction of downloads during 2-8 am, i have link-removed PREMIUM ACCOUNT and i can download at 200+kbps at night using download managers ( i use IDM as idm as the facility to pause downloads at the set time (i.e. 7:50am) & turn off the PC 🙂 .......... well if u read the rules of file hosting sites they always limit the speed for FREE DOWNLOAD Users and Max the speed for Premium ..... i have never faced any sort of trouble from BSNL .... hope so buying one premium might solve ur problem ....
