well i have a ts sb now.the normal one.and i have been using it since 2007.now i got a full hd tv in my room and i wish to have a had sb for it.i was zeroing on sun and airtel until i found out about TS launching HD services. But i have been totally unhappy with tata services in the past.I wanted a frank opinion ,which is the best and most economical in HD.i would not mind buying an entirely new connection if tata isnt the answer

Whatever may be, never go for Sun Direct.

talking about HUMAX.I had a 14 inch LG tv in my dads room with hathway-humax SB.THere was a conflict between the remote controls of the two, since they shared same type of ports. The SB remote always took the tv out of AV mode or changed its colour or volume ,while sometimes the tv remote did something crazy with the SB.Seems like the koreans had only one type of RC port left in the entire market.

For quality try Sun Direct. But CC will be poor. For other things try Airtel or Big tv.

Its the same model as of urs. HD ready. And yes u can get HD from 720p also thru component output.

Discovery HD and HGC HD will be 1080i but 720 p resolution hardly makes difference

After lot of googling, got to know that Component Cable does support Full HD and its very good at bypassing HDCP.
