whoa. just two plans and both of them have a FUP of 100GBs. SUCKS.

Though I am ok with this 100GB fair usage. I see "512 Kbps till 15GB,256 Kbps beyond 15 GB" in Margin 1299 plan but it says 1 Mbps Speed day and Night, am I missing something here?

i had a long conversation with airtel presence folks over this 'typo'. in the end, i was told that the PDF has incorrect information. they thanked me for pointing it out. and they stated that it would be fixed asap. this was around 2 weeks back. the bottomline is that you get 1mbps till 15GB and 256kbps after that. courtesy airtel fair usage policy. funny enough, they called me up earlier today and spoke about a 4mbps plan with 50GB FUP Limit for IPTV customers. 256kbps after 50GB limit is touched. i dont remember the price tag as i was sleepy during that conversation. but this plan is nowhere on their site. and painfully enough, the IPTV site does not mention the FUP limits. these are only mentioned in the PDF file. so customers are likely to fell for this freak show.

Thanks. I just ordered for this Magic 1299 plan. Hope everything turns out all rite. Just out of curiosity, what happens once I cross this 100GB limit? Though i am certain I won't even touch 25 GB.

grr. you did not understand what i stated! you would get 1mbps till 15GB usage. 256kbps after that. unless of course, Airtel does not implement the FUP on your connection which they do for some customers. 🙂

they could not explain it to me why this part is in the PDF file. in the end they said that this is for the older plans and does not apply on the new packages. call airtel guys and confirm it yourself. airtel is a joke these days. most of their plans hosted on their website are not updated properly. and this PDF file for their IPTV plans is a JOKE.
