So, I recently got MTNL broadband.

I was quite impressed.
Recently a member @swapnilrk2004 convinced me to purchase MTNL's IPTV services. So now I shall post experience and update this thread regularly.

I called 126555 as per MTNL's website. At first I thought it was the wrong number since i heard "Welcome to Aksh Optifibre, Press one for iControl". Nevertheless I pressed 1 and almost immediately I had a CSR attend to me. I inquired about the services and I got good replies. The CSR's were competent and not one of the MTNL bhenji's I was expecting. I was told of the Rs.1499 Deposit and was offered two plans Rs229 Rs 199 and Rs.279 Rs.249.(The difference being No. of channels TimeShift was available on). I chose the Rs.279249 package and was asked to provide my address and telephone number and was informed that someone would come to collect a cheque and the connection would be done within a week.
So far so good.

At about 5 in the evening I called 126555 in order to find out what was going on, This time I was on hold for about 2 minutes and had to cut as something came up.
I called back at around 6:30 and my call was answered immediately. I was assured that someone would come to collect the cheque on the 13th.

Got a call at 4:15, salesman came at 4:40 (5 minutes before the promised time:inodding:, He was decently dressed, knew what he was doing)
He filled in the form and cheque, I signed and he told me that the connection would be installed within seven days, It usually takes 4. Said I should not face any problems
