Guys trust me DONT EVER take an IPTV connection from the provider MyWay .. It is the most useless and frustating product To top it all is their Customer Care Centre and Technical support team .. it beats all call centres and tech support teams which I have seen till now hollow in terms of worthlessness, incompetence and callousnessMy story is like this ...The firm had come up with a promotional offer in Jan .. I got lured not just by their offer but also as I wanted to try out new technology and patronise a new companyAlas my faith was misplaced .. the installation team struggled for 7 full days but they could not get the thing going .. finally after running out of patience and abusing them heavily did they complete the installation almost as if doing a favour ... on top of that they bluntly refused to give a promised bag in the promo offer stating that the promo is now not valid Anyways the thing worked somewhat OK initially but persistently there was a problem with the remote wherein EVERY key triggers a different function from what it is intended forThereafter frequented by frozen images, video jumping frame by frame, break in audio, looooooooooong booting time, loss of DSL syncronisation, complete washout of image, one fine day the system just packed up .. that was 5 days backEnter the Call centre : the IVRS takes you to the concerned person but even before you utter a word disconnects your call automatically .. finally after struggling for good 1 hr I managed to register the complaintEnter the tech team : The so called technical support doesnt know their elbow from their a** and deserve the prize for 'most incompetent tech support team' : they are clueless FIVE DAYS AFTER complaint is lodged .. they believe only in throwing jargon without action .. special mention to Nikhil and Naveen who are masters in making false promises without results .. these guys do not even have the courtesy and work ethic to at least attend to the phone or pick up their mobileSo here I am .. struck with a useless product and fooled by a system where the customer stands to loose heavily if he withdraws as the rules are framed heavily in favour of the provider .. I really wonder how can such fraudulent companies be allowed to function
 
BSNL/MTNL is the partners of MYWAY and i think it is good from feasibility point. The BSNL and MTNL are available in almost every city. I am using myway from last few months and I find the better resolution far better than DTH. The services offered by myway are excellent. When I took the connection I got free subscription and free movies on demand for three months. I think the awareness about IPTV is low and people do not know much about the advance level of entertainment.
 
I used MyWay IPTV for one month and had to return it after the trial period. For one thing, the responsiveness is far too slow. You press a button on the remote and then wait and wait and wait for its effect to take place! In frustration you press some other button and you are in even deeper trouble. Also, there is BIG mismatch between the video and audio. The set top box too has many technical problems. It hangs every now and then without any obvious reason. In short, the technology is not yet mature. The MyWay guys keep blaming BSNL for improper wiring etc. The BSNL guy at the local exchange told me to get rid of MyWay immediately since they were receiving too many complaints. Why should the user have to suffer for lack of coordination between these two agencies? My advice is: NEVER, NEVER GET MYWAY.
 
I think BSNL/MyWay has parted ways!.. Atleast MTNL has, so I am assuming BSNL must have too.

MyWay may still be using telephone wire, but MTNL is not taking any responsibility, that is why post-paid (with MTNL bill) schemes have stopped and prepaid have started.
