Wireless Connectivity Using Mt841 Modem

I have a PC and a Lap top. My Lap top is Wi-FI.My Modem is Huawei MT841. My PC is connected to the Modem by a usb cable and i am being able to browse.I wanted to connect my laptop wirelessly, so i got the PCMCIA wireless card and inserted it in the Modem. My laptop was able to detect a wireless network and i was able to connect to the network but when i tried browsing it didnt work. I think the card needs installation but there is no driver cd with it and there are no instructions. I tried typing 192.168.1.1 in my browser to configure but it is asking me for a admin username and password. I typed my dataone user name and password but it didnt work Please help me with this problem

yes as seshu said.... u sud b able to get into ur modem's configuration.
