After upgrade, does your download during the nights is counted under FUP or not?

^^ it is counted

After upgrade, does your download during the nights is counted under FUP or not?

I have no idea, as I neither care about much about timings,
nor check how much I downloaded.
I made clear to airtel, that I would not agree to any change
whatsoever which involves lowering my FUP limits.

May this gives you some idea:
6 am - 8 am is without electricity.
Rest of the day download/upload are normally going on.
after 2 am the PC is normally out if I don't download huge files.
If I do, I sometimes leave The PC on through night for download.

This means most of the download happens through the day.

Well for me its different..
Initially I called the customer care via airtel presence and they doubled my speed from 512K to 1 Mbps with FUP of 100GB, and after that, the normal double up for all customers in my area again dowbled my speed from 1 to 2 Mbps.
So now my plan is 2Mbps till 30GB and from 30-100GB 1 Mbps and after that day speed reduces to 512Kbps for only 1299 per month.

Thats actually a decent plan.
Only problem is that you got lucky by getting the double speed upgrade.

Till now 2 Mbps (Freedom 1699) continuing.
Uploading in average 16-18 hours a day,
downloading maybe a little less.
Same plan as you and I can confirm that I have been officially reduced to the fair usage policy speed according to my plan.i.e 1 Mbps. Was redirected to a page stating the same(mentioned happy browsing at the end too😱 )
Downloads + Uploads in this billing(22nd of august to 23rd of september) period were close to 100 Gb or even slightly more than that.
If that is my final plan then I am happy with that.
2 Mbps till 100 Gb's then 1Mbps for the rest of the billing period.
Since my billing period starts in 3 days, I'll get a fair idea then I guess.

@admin
Hard luck!Perhaps you have a plan which might not have been considered for upgradation since its not a stand alone broadband plan?Is that right?
Atleast, you can not be fooled into accepting some plan that you wouldn't even want.I still don't have much of an idea about mine.If they reduce me to 256Kbps tomorrow then there's not much I can do then to threaten Airtel with disconnection again.
