BSNL Broadband must double the speeds like MTNL and bring down charges!

MTNL has doubled the speeds for the same charges per month- i.e. pp. paying 899 are getting 1 Mbps on MTNL - but BSNL on the other hand is acting the jew- just 512 kbps for Rs. 1400 PM. Is,nt this extracting maximum juice out of the public for providing a service which is just as essential as Air and water.
 
There is nothing we can do than wait and watch
 
899 are getting 1 Mbps on MTNL .. WOW !! unlimited ? then how much is 2 mb/s unlimited ?
 
MTNL doubled the UL speeds at the same price some time ago and now announced 1 MB UL for 999. Even NU is from 10 - 8.BSNL doesn't seem to want to change anything.
 

BSNL does'nt care at all. its a government organisation, so the go should come from the top. Just take to account how mobile rates have gone down. we were charged 1 rupees for 1 minute. now we can talk for 1 minutes for 20 paise. thanks to TATA Docomo. if docomo was'nt released the rates of mobile call charges would still be the same. My point here is if they earn profit even at 20 paise so how much profits they would have made when the whole country paid 1 rupee per call all these years?its the same with broadband. some ISP has to come up with unthinkably low rates for broadband and all these sheep will follow.
 
its quite sometime that Airtel has reduced their tariff. no signs of BSNL following the change. Seems like management is still asleep
 
MTNL did not do enough... They should have launched their new plans in Delhi forcing Airtel to do something about them. Airtel from what I know has limited coverage in Mumbai so they are not threatened by the new updated plans from MTNL.
