Hi,I have a 1 GB + Unlimited night time connection of Airtel broadband in Hyderabad.I am trying to get the customer service people point me to the right place where i can check my usage (upload/download limit),but everybody says i have to get my first bill ( i have registered in airtel.in but i only see my phone number) no place to check the usage...Please let me know if there is a work around this or i am left at the mercy of airtels billing system for the first month.Venkat

You need the firt bill because you need your account number to register on www.airtel.in. Once you get your first bill register for an account and you can check your usage unbilled and billed both. But be warned their sitew is EXTREMELY SLOW. SSL or not theres no damn reason to be that freggin slow.

how can i track the dsl usage of my airtel connection using the airtel site....no 3rd party software .

I guess registering for My Account at airtel.in will give your usage statistics.

is registering for ebill(my bill on email) cost me anything????or is it free?

My reply dated 1st july in this forum quoted below.Against BB you have two options summary & details. select details to show daily usage. 1.Go to Nearest Airtel office.2.Carry a color photo and Photo Identity card3. Take a recent airtel bill4. Fill up the form and sign the agreement.5. Airtel will send you a ID and Password.6. Use it to access your telephone broadband mobile account details.7. Usually there is one or two days delay in posting the detailsQuoteWelcome To My Airtel, xxxxxxxxxYou are presently registered for the following services with usYou can view further details by clicking on the relevant Phone/Mobile No.Phone / Mobile No Account No Service Type Customer Name Status0444xxxxxxx 121xxxxxxx Telephone Line xxxxxxxx Active0444xxxxxxx 121xxxxxxxx DSL xxxxxxx ActiveUNQUOTE

Just go to CDR Report (works only for NCR). Enter your telephone no. incl the STD code only as the user name and select the appropriate time period to view the details.

CDR report didnt work for me...showed blank fields...i guess that it only shows info for those who have registered..(by going to office..etc)

Nope, its an internal site of Airtel. There is no registration required. You should check the Username in the WAN settings of the modem, just ignore the '@airtelbroadband.in' bit.

got it to work now...the correction being the username which should be STDCODE+TEL.No.+"_dsl"🙂 thanks.

Well that is in your case, mine is doesn't have the '_dsl' in it. That is why i said to look it up in the modem. 🙂
