Bike Insurance Renewal through Bajaj Allianz

Alright. I have this Yamaha FZ16 that I purchased in February last year.

Insurance renewal is due... I called up Bajaj Allianz people. They told me that it can be done online.

Can anyone here make sense of their website:

they seems to be focused on spamming with keywords in their title tags rather than providing a usable interface 🙁

it looks like a mess no matter what browser i check it through.

i am now searching for a local guy who can process this thing quickly and without any hassles. 😀

Why dont you get it done through icicilombard? You can migrate from other insurance company!
 
When I tried looking for options in Bajaj Allianz, It gives me a error "This site has better compatibility for Internet Explorer.Please use Internet Explorer"
 
not a very big fan of icici... i have asked a friend to get his insurance guy to contact me. since it's a bike and insurance is pretty much a formality... i am not worried about the quality of insurance here. i have realized that the insurance for bikes is largely a scam run by the government 😀yeap. bajaj allianz is a big FAIL. i kept on getting to a dead end with chrome. checked in internet explorer to hit another roadblock.
 
My bike's insurance was with Icici, and wen it was expiring last year, A guy from icici came to my office and took all the documents and renewed it (In fact they called me up and reminded me that my insurance is expiring) !
 
oh well bajaj has been reminding me with sms for some days now. just that their call center was in pune. he asked me if i wanted their local office's number. i said never mind. i have called up my friend. he will ask his insurance guy to call me up and get it done with. if it does not work out, i guess i will get on icici lombard website and get it done online.
 

I have had a hassle free renewal experience with ICICI so far [4 years]. Everything is online, gets done in less than 10 minutes, and the document is emailed immediately. The papers arrive in a week's time. I don't even use the bike a lot, so insurance claims are out of the question. Works great for me.
 
The activities of ICICI online are not all that bad most of your solutions can be derived on the website itself. I too am not familiar with their bike insurance policies.
